Nursing Care At Home

Providing the care you need within the comfort of your own home.

If you are looking for nursing care at home there are likely to be two aspects to the care required. One aspect of nursing care at home are those tasks that need to be completed by a qualified nurse such as application of dressings over wounds, the giving of injections, the inserting of catheters, or the setting up of syringe drivers. These tasks are normally completed by a district/community nurse or nurse specialist who will visit as and when required.

The other aspect of nursing care at home are the daily needs which form the majority of care needs, such as assistance with personal hygiene, going to the toilet, changing of pads, washing, changing of clothes and bedding, the preparation of meals and assistance with eating and drinking. These tasks can be completed by a live-in carer who is available for 12 hours per day, seven days per week, as well as being present at night in case of emergency. Convivium Care has carers who have a considerable range of skills which encompass this wide range of nursing care at home.  Some of our carers are also nurses but they are supplied to clients as carers, not as nurses, since we do not operate as a nursing agency.

Convivium Care has received excellent feedback regarding these aspects of nursing care at home:
